In Poetry

What secret pleasure and joy in this,
But thy sweetest, tenderest gentle kiss?
As you gently brush your hand against my cheek,
Did my whole body swoon and seek,
For the secret of the entire universe was there unexpressed,
As your fingers caressed my naked breast.
My heart did skip a joyful beat,
Entranced like the twinkle of bells upon my feet.
Oh how I have waited and longed for thee,
For hands that wander and lips that speak.
Come merge with me Beloved; rest now where you belong,
Together we shall sing love’s most glorious song.
